Renting a Photo Studio in Orange County: What ID STUDIO Includes

ID STUDIO in Mission Viejo rents by the hour with a two-hour minimum: backdrops, props, a private changing room and makeup area, booked and paid online. How it works.

Finding a clean, well-equipped studio in south Orange County used to mean a drive to Los Angeles or a conversation with a photographer who might or might not rent their space. ID STUDIO is Irma Lion's own studio in Mission Viejo, and it is available by the hour to photographers, content creators and brands.

What is included

  • Full access to the studio during your booked time
  • Numerous backdrops and props for content creation
  • A clean, professional space suited to brand collaborations
  • A private changing room and a dedicated makeup area

The rate is $120 per hour with a two-hour minimum booking. Payment is made in full at the time of booking, online.

How booking works

The whole thing happens on the studio page, without an email exchange.

  1. Open the booking page and enter your name and email.
  2. Pick your hours on the live calendar. Only genuinely free hours are shown; the calendar is tied to the studio's real schedule, so a double booking is not possible.
  3. Sign the Photo Studio Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver electronically. It opens from the booking page and you land back where you were once it is signed.
  4. Pay online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your hours are confirmed the moment the payment lands, and you receive a confirmation email.

The agreement is readable in full on the site before you book. The terms people ask about: cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reservation are not refunded, unauthorized overtime may be charged at an additional $50 per hour, and heavy equipment or furniture is not to be moved without permission.

Who rents it

  • Photographers who need a controlled, neutral space for client sessions without the overhead of a lease. A two-hour block covers a headshot session or a compact branding shoot.
  • Content creators shooting a month of material in one afternoon: the backdrops and props change the look between setups without changing location.
  • Brands and small teams producing product or founder content, or hosting a collaboration that needs a polished setting rather than an office.
  • Hair and makeup artists and stylists who need the changing room and makeup area as much as the shooting floor.

Planning a half day

A two-hour booking is enough for one setup and two looks. Three to four hours comfortably covers a creator's monthly content plan: arrive, set up on the first backdrop, shoot two looks, change backdrop and props, shoot the next two, with time for a break and for the kind of behind-the-scenes clips that now get more views than the finished work.

If you want the studio and a photographer, that is a different booking: the Custom Experience covers photography by the hour and is quoted with the studio time added.

Getting there

The studio is at 23382 Madero, Unit K, Mission Viejo, California 92691, a few minutes from the 5 freeway, with parking at the door. It is roughly equidistant from Irvine, Laguna Beach and San Juan Capistrano, and about an hour from central Los Angeles outside rush hour.

A few things worth knowing

  • Bring your own camera, lights and modifiers unless agreed otherwise; the rental covers the space, the backdrops and the props.
  • Steam your wardrobe before you arrive; the changing room is for changing, not for an ironing board.
  • Leave the space as you found it. The next booking may start within the hour.
  • If your plan does not fit the booking page (a full-day production, a weekend, a shoot that needs the whole space rearranged), send an inquiry and it can be arranged by email.

ID STUDIO was built for the kind of work this site is about: imagery that looks intentional. Renting it is the simplest way to borrow that for an afternoon.
